This was my take on how to watch Jesse Stone Movies in Order. There is currently no Jesse Stone continuation in development. When the series returns, it will very certainly be without Selleck (despite the fact that he was enthusiastic about doing another as late as 2021). Because the character was originally a much younger guy in the books, this is another situation where the eventual recasting with a younger actor will be closer to the novel’s take on things than the first film’s take on things (similar to Morgan Freeman in Kiss the Girls and Tyler Perry in Alex Cross). Whatever his age was while playing Stone for ten years, there were definitely millions of fans at home who were pleased to check in on him, his dogs, and the world-famous mustache on a regular basis.
